2025 has been a standout year for UKELA. From record-breaking engagement in events and consultations, to growing our influence, supporting the next generation, and launching our new five-year strategy, the breadth and depth of activity across the UKELA community has never been stronger. - 1,700+ event registrations, across 16 in-person, 11 hybrid and 4 online events, including conferences, webinars and the Social Series
- 360 delegates and 60+ speakers at the Annual Conference in Bristol
- 27 consultation responses submitted - a record year - strengthening UKELA’s role as an independent, expert voice in environmental law
- 284 new student members, expanded mentoring, bursaries and competitions, and increased early-career engagement
- 6 themed issues of elaw published, alongside a growing library of recorded events and resources for members
- New leadership milestones, including a new Chair, new trustees, and the launch of UKELA’s Strategic Plan 2025–2030
