Accessibility
We want to provide a good online experience to everyone.
This accessibility statement tells what accessibility features we have included
in this site. We recognise that there may still be more to do. If you have difficulties
using this site, or can give us feedback regarding the accessibility of this
site, we would be grateful to hear from you so that we can improve our site
further.
We promote the use of web standards such as XHTML and
Cascading Style Sheets, in a semantically correct manner. We aim to provide
support for a variety of browsers, including Firefox and Safari.
We aim to achieve Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility
guidelines, however, we are using JavaScript in places.
We use a number of tools to perform automated accessibility
tests, but as of today, we do not have any disabled testers. If you are
interested in becoming one, get in touch.
We try to use clear language- it is simply good practice for
everyone. We will not use any blinking or flickering elements.
The colours used on this site should provide adequate
contrast so that it is usable by anyone with colour deficient vision.
Information is always conveyed by text or markers in addition to colour. The
font size is changeable by you using the browser function to increase the
font size.
