UKELA East is delighted to host a trip to visit Wendling Beck, a 2000-acre nature recovery project in Norfolk, creating habitats and supporting nature-driven processes on a large scale. Join them to explore one of the most ambitious nature recovery projects in England.
Wendling Beck Nature Recovery Project
Wendling Beck Exemplar Project (WBEP) is a pioneering habitat creation, nature restoration and regenerative farming project, spanning almost 2,000 acres of land North of the market town of Dereham in Norfolk. The project is a collaboration between private landowners, local authorities, environmental NGOs, and Anglian Water.
The day's site visit to Wendling Beck Nature Recovery Project is open to all UKELA members as well as non-members, and will be hosted by Glenn Anderson, 5th generation farmer and Strategy Lead at Wending Beck, with representatives from Anglian Water - Dr Robin Price and Katie Teesdale-Ward.
